VicRoads is progressing too. In August 2022, we started on a new chapter when the Victorian State Government partnered with Aware Super, Australian Retirement Trust, and Macquarie Asset Management to operate registration and licensing services on its behalf.

We work collaboratively with the Victorian State Government to ensure we fulfill regulatory requirements, deliver State projects and safeguard customer data. The Victorian State Government retains sole responsibility for road access, infrastructure and safety.

About the opportunity

This is a unique opportunity for a senior marketing professional to lead strategic initiatives across the VicRoads and Custom Plates brands. As Senior Marketing Specialist, you'll drive CRM-led campaigns, customer lifecycle programs, and multi-channel strategies to engage both B2B and B2C audiences. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll use data insights to optimise marketing performance and contribute to service transformation projects. This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of 8 years experience in a like role, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage complex projects with minimal oversight, and is passionate about delivering measurable results that support brand growth and customer satisfaction.

About you

You are a highly capable marketing professional with a strong foundation in developing and executing strategic, data-driven campaigns. With senior experience across both B2B and B2C environments, you bring a customer-first mindset and a proven ability to lead CRM, content, and integrated marketing initiatives with minimal oversight. You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative settings and use data and technology to deliver measurable results.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or similar
• Minimum 8 years' experience in client-side Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Manager roles.
• Deep experience in customer lifecycle and CRM marketing programs
• Strong proficiency in marketing automation and segmentation tools
• Proven success leading multi-channel campaigns with measurable ROI
• Confident interpreting data to refine strategies and improve engagement
• Skilled in managing external agencies, vendors, and key stakeholders
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery across projects
