Job Description
Duties:

  • Liaise with Shippers and Carriers
  • Coordinating Sea export shipments
  • Making export bookings
  • Registering shipments in CW1
  • Arranging cartage
  • Update all parties of any changes to export shipments
  • Completing Hazardous lodgements
  • Send PRA via EDI/1-stop
  • Monitor vessel ATD
  • Dispatch documents to shippers and overseas offices/agents
  • Invoicing
  • Filling / Scanning
  • Other duties include attending to daily queries, prompt checking and monitoring of emails, and completing tasks set from the Export Manager when required

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Diploma/ Tertiary qualifications in supply chain/logistics.
  • At least 2 to 4 years of ocean freight forwarding experience, preferably with focus on LCL pricing procurement.
  • A team player who is self-motivated and with good interpersonal skills.
  • A confident individual with effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • A persistent individual with good negotiation skills.
  • A resilient individual who can work under pressure.
  • Conversant in MS skills, especially in using EXCEL spreadsheet.
