About the Role: As the Senior HR Business Partner, you'll be at the forefront of driving culture, capability, and engagement across the organisation. Working closely with leaders, you'll ensure HR strategies are aligned with business priorities while supporting a workplace where every employee feels valued, safe, and empowered to contribute to the organisation's mission.
From developing leaders and driving learning initiatives to managing end-to-end recruitment and employee relations, your expertise will help foster a fair, transparent, and inclusive environment that enables the organisation to continue delivering vital services to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with senior management to align HR initiatives with organisational objectives and build a strong, engaged culture.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning to attract and retain exceptional talent.
- Employee Relations: Provide trusted guidance on performance management, conflict resolution and employee relations
- Learning & Development: Drive a culture of continuous learning and oversee compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Compensation & Benefits: Support the design and implementation of equitable, competitive and transparent reward structures.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to employment legislation, industry standards and organisational policies.
- Work Health & Safety: Lead WHS compliance initiatives, including annual audits and chairing the WHS committee.
About You:You're an experienced HR professional who thrives in collaborative, purpose-driven environments and enjoys partnering with leaders to drive meaningful change.
You'll bring:
- Minimum 5 years' HR experience, including strong expertise in employee relations, talent management and organisational development.
- Demonstrated success as a strategic HR business partner, aligning people strategy with business goals.
- Working knowledge of employment law, WHS legislation and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and engagement across all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, performance management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
