NINETEEN Hunter Valley is an award-winning, fast-growing hospitality venue in the heart of the stunning Hunter Valley. In just over two years, we've become a local favourite, offering an exceptional experience across our Sports Bar, state-of-the-art Beer Garden, and TAB facilities.

We are now on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Duty Manager to join our Sports Bar dynamic leadership team and help us continue to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

About the role:

  • Oversee daily operations across our Sports Bar and Beer Garden, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Maintain a strong floor presence, supporting both the team and guests.
  • Coordinate restaurant reservations
  • Provide training and development opportunities for staff
  • Assist with stock control, rostering, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, RSA, RCG and workplace safety requirements.
  • Assist the management team in driving venue targets, promotions, and events.
About you:

  • Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor, Duty Manager, or similar role in a fast-paced venue.

  • Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Hands-on approach with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts (morning, evening, weekends)
  • Proven TAB experience

  • Certifications:

  • NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)

  • NSW RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling)
