The resort features three distinct Food and Beverage outlets. The breakfast buffet in newly rebranded Gather Restaurant is renowned to both locals and in house guests. In the evening, we transform this space to a perfect culmination of a Hunter Valley steak and wine menu, featuring local Hunter Valley produce. Vista Bar is the resort lobby bar featuring classic cocktails and pre-dinner snacks. For a lively indoor scene or laid-back beer garden, Lovedale Bar + Grill serves up everything from pizzas, steaks and burgers matched with beers and ciders from Sydney Brewery, brewed right here on site Alongside all of this, the resort also boasts being the largest Regional Conference and Events Centre in New South Wales and has room to accommodate intimate gatherings of 10 or milestone moments hosting up to 1,100 attendees in our largest venue, or across all 15 meeting rooms.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our team in Lovedale Bar + Grill as a Full Time Food and Beverage Duty Manager. As the ideal candidate you'll have a robust background in a similar environment, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Communication: Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions.
• Guest Interaction: Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Leadership: Previous experience in leading and managing diverse teams
• Multitasking: Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of service under pressure.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and enhanced guest satisfaction.
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional demeanor and presentation at all times, including impeccable grooming standards.
• Attention to Detail: Display strong attention to detail, especially when handling guest requests and performing tasks.

Skills & Experience

• Food and Beverage experience: Relevant industry experience working and leading a high volume outlet. Including extensive beverage knowledge
• Knowledge and experience in the development and training of junior team members.
• Flexibility: Available to work a flexible schedule across seven days a week, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Legal Right to Work: Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia, as sponsorship is not available.
• Police Check: All successful candidates must be willing to undergo a National Police Check if required.
• A strong sense of professionalism and attention to detail.
• You must possess a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Team-oriented with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
