Salary range : $88,000 to $130,000

About iPrana

iPrana is an accredited SIRA approved rehabilitation provider. It was founded by a first generation migrant and Physiotherapist out of a need to provide person centred rehabilitation services catering to the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse communities in New South Wales.

Our founder has 20 years of experience in clinical, WHS and occupational rehabilitation industry, having worked working for national and global employers, insured and self insured schemes and labour unions. This means you have mentoring and leadership second to none.

The Role:

• If you're new to industry as a registered health professional you earn the title of Rehabilitation Consultant while undergoing a 12 month paid supervision programme
• You will have a client list of those who have been injured either on the road or at work. Your role is to support their recovery by identifying medical or psychosocial barriers to recovery and developing strategies to address these barriers.
• Completing discipline specific assessment services (Workplace Assessments, Functional Capacity Evaluations (Psychological or Physical), ADL Assessments and Vocational Assessments.
• Provide assistance with job seeking and labour market analysis – help people find work when they can't return to their pre-injury role.
• Most importantly you'll work with referring doctors and allied health professionals who understand the benefits of choosing the rehab provider
• You'll have exposure to the NSW Workers Compensation and CTP schemes and relevant legislation, working across a wide portfolio of industries from transport and logistics, manufacturing, agriculture, government, construction, hospitality, and professional services. No two days are the same.
• If you're experienced in the industry welcome to a provider with a difference. We know what doesn't sit well with you working in the industry and why you need a change (we've been there too)
• Enjoy a hybrid working environment – work from home and the office (West, North West and South West office locations).
• Identify and manage the risk to return to pre-injury health and work using your excellent written and verbal skills. Let us build your confidence in this area.

About You:

• Degree in Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Rehab Counselling or Nursing.
• Full registration with AHPRA, ESSA or ASORC.
• Organised team player who is willing to adapt, learn and improve.
• Strong ability to maintain strong working relationships with clients and referrers.
• Able to obtain Professional indemnity insurance, a valid police check.
• A teachable attitude with a willingness to develop interpersonal, communication and report writing skills.
• Current drivers license and own vehicle.
• Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
• Sensitivity to culturally and linguistically diverse communities. A bonus is being able to speak a second language.
• You must be a person who shares our company values.
• A valid drivers licence is a must as travel in Sydney metro is required.
