Specialising in premium domestic homes and exclusive commercial projects as well as renovation and replacement of Needhamair's 48 year old existing client data base.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to oversee all HVAC - Ducted, Wall Split and VRF/VRV installation projects.

The successful candidate will work on site with and manage a team of installers, refrigeration technicians & electricians to ensure timely project completion and handover, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, in this hands-on role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise an Installation team - HVAC / refrigeration / electrical
  • Coordinate each project and ensure adherence to deadlines and quality requirements
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers as needed
  • Maintain accurate project documentation
  • Train and mentor team members

Key Skill Requirements

Ability to:

  • cut, run & weld copper pipework
  • run condensate drains
  • install sheet metal duct and fit of air diffusion to a high standard
  • read architectural and mechanical drawings
  • install all types of air conditioning equipment
  • Lead, train and manage a Team

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HVAC, air conditioning and refrigeration installations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in HVAC industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possession of Certificate III or II Refrigeration and ARC Licence preferred but not essential
  • Possession of Electrical Certificates and Licences desirable but not essential
