We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Officer for a 3 month temporary assignment. If you thrive in a high-volume environment, excel at end-to-end payroll processing, and are a whiz with month-end activities, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Payroll Management: Manage and execute the complete payroll cycle for a large volume of employees on a fortnightly basis.
  • Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Month-End Activities: Accurately complete all payroll-related month-end tasks, including general ledger reconciliations, reporting, and journal entries.
  • System Expertise: Manage and maintain the payroll system, ensuring data integrity and effective process flow. Experience with ADP or Workday payroll platforms is highly preferred.
  • Problem Resolution: Research and resolve complex payroll discrepancies and employee queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyse payroll reports for management as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience managing high-volume, end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll best practices and accounting principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience using ADP is a significant advantage.
