Myer is looking for a dynamic Head of Digital Trade & Planning to own and drive the commercial performance of its digital business across both owned and third-party channels. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and executing an integrated digital commercial plan that balances revenue growth, profitability and exceptional customer experience. As a strategic leader, the Head of Digital Trade & Planning will oversee trading, financial planning, promotional strategy and performance analytics to maximise digital contribution to the overall business. Reporting to the GM, Digital Commerce, this role partners closely with Merchandise, Marketing and Finance teams to ensure all commercial decisions are data-driven, customer-focused and aligned with Myer's strategic priorities.

About the role:

• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team across trade, planning, and site merchandising experience.
• Execute the digital trade and financial strategy to deliver sales, margin, and profit growth in line with company objectives.
• Responsible for driving financial outcomes, shaping investment priorities, and influencing cross-functional decision making.
• Represent Digital Trading & Planning at Executive and Merchandise forums, driving alignment between digital and total-business goals (MMR, EGM Trade Meetings, etc.).
• Manage team member life cycle as per Myer processes.
• Responsible for the Digital P&L forecasting and planning process, ensuring financial accuracy and commercial accountability.
• Partner with GM Digital Commerce and Finance to build a robust planning rhythm that connects digital forecasts to total-business performance.
• Develop and monitor KPIs across sales, margin, inventory, and marketing efficiency to enable rapid, data-driven decision making.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks while optimising promotional calendar and investments.
• Lead the Trade & Planning team to execute critical digital trading levers — promotional calendar and on-site experience — to deliver profitable growth and enhanced customer value, while working with merchandising on range and pricing as needed.
• Oversee the execution of the annual and seasonal Trade & Campaign Calendar, ensuring tight alignment with Merchandise, Marketing, and Digital Operations.
• Lead optimisation of the digital storefront experience, ensuring navigation, search, and merchandising reflect commercial priorities and customer behaviour.
• Partner with the Digital Marketing and SEO teams to deliver profitable growth.
• Act as the key commercial interface between Digital, Merchandise, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain functions.
• Influence senior stakeholders to align promotional, pricing, and inventory strategies across channels.
• Provide Executive-level reporting, insights, and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Champion digital commercial excellence across the organisation, building advocacy for the online business.
• Lead the evolution of digital trading and planning capabilities, systems, and processes to improve agility and performance visibility.
• Drive a culture of test-and-learn, commercial discipline, and accountability.
• Anticipate market and competitive trends to inform long-range planning and innovation roadmaps.

About you:

• Extensive commercial planning experience, with accountability for sales, margin, and profit delivery in complex retail environments.
• Advanced financial planning and analysis capability, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling that inform strategic decisions.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking, able to translate financial, trading, and customer insights into clear business actions.
• Exceptional stakeholder influence and collaboration skills, engaging senior leaders across Merchandise, Marketing, Finance and Operations to align plans and priorities.
• Proven leadership in building high-performing teams and driving a culture of commercial accountability, agility, and continuous improvement.
