About the role

  • Deliver meaningful Occupational Therapy care across diverse specialties including inpatient stroke, general medical and surgical, orthopedics, cardiology, age care and rehabilitation.

  • Collaborate with experienced teams in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary hospital setting

  • Support patient recovery and flow through tailored interventions and discharge planning

  • Build broad clinical experience while contributing to research and service improvement

  • Join a supportive department committed to growth, mentorship, and high-quality care

About you

  • You're a qualified and AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist. Able to autonomously manage a varied weekend caseload across acute hospital wards.

  • Available to work at least one weekend shift, varying between Saturdays and Sundays for up to 12 months

  • Bring proven clinical experience in acute and sub-acute settings, with strengths across neurology, general medicine, surgery, and rehabilitation

  • Confident in applying clinical reasoning and exercising sound professional judgment in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment

  • A natural communicator who thrives in a team, building strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues alike

  • Committed to continuous improvement, with a demonstrated history of contributing to quality initiatives and evidence-based practice
