About the Opportunity
The Junction Works is seeking an Independent Contractor Senior Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to people with disabilities, supervision and review reports for our OT team. As part of The Works Practice, you will collaborate with other allied health professionals to deliver tailored occupational therapy. Services are provided in a range of settings, including participant homes, day programs, and clinics, with a focus on person-centered, evidence-based support.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess participant needs and develop, implement, monitor and review NDIS plans for each participant to ensure the participant's assessed needs are being met.
- Manage a caseload of people with a disability and their families or carers, who present with a variety of needs. This includes assessment, intervention planning, program development and equipment presciption.
- Support the team with your experience and knowledge through supervision and reviewing reports.
- Ensure that organisational benchmark's are met in accordance to customer expectations and participant caseload allocation.
- Act as a specialist resource to management on all matters pertaining to the provision of Occupational Therapy services within The Junction Works.
- Ensure service delivery models are based on current evidence based practice, and are delivered within resources
About You
- Registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA and relevant professional memberships
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, complex needs, and behavioral challenges
- Strong understanding of the NDIS framework
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with participants, families, and a multidisciplinary team
- ABN, Professional Indemnity Insurance, and the ability to provide services as an independent contractor
