The Role: Leading Hand – Commercial Fit-Out Carpenter

We're looking for a driven Leading Hand Carpenter with experience in commercial fit-outs — including office, education, and refurbishment projects.

You'll lead from the front, coordinating trades, delivering detailed work, and ensuring quality on-site. The role offers a combination of hands-on carpentry and site leadership.


What You'll Need:

  • 6+ years of commercial carpentry and fit-out experience
  • Demonstrated leadership ability on-site
  • Confidence in reading and interpreting construction drawings
  • High attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Own tools and reliable transport
  • Professionalism, reliability, and initiative

Scope of Works:

  • Set-out
  • Steel stud and track framing
  • Bulkheads and suspended ceilings
  • Plastering and finishing
  • Aluminium framing and glazing
  • Detailed feature walls and ceilings
  • Doors, skirtings & hardware installs
  • Basic admin including site coordination and ordering
