The Opportunity
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of high-quality water and wastewater systems. Whether working in our state-of-the-art workshop or on-site at client facilities, your hands-on skills will help deliver solutions that truly make a difference. Your Responsibilities
- Assemble and fabricate water and wastewater treatment systems with precision and attention to detail
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to complete projects to high standards
- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards
- Work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, management, and clients
- Travel to remote sites for plant installations when required
Your Skills & Qualifications
- Trade qualification in mechanical fitting or plumbing (or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience in uPVC piping, mechanical assembly, or fabrication
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including workshop machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- A commitment to safety and following strict guidelines
- A positive attitude and excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Physical fitness for tasks such as lifting and extended periods of standing
- Current C-class manual driver's licence
