Maroochy Waterfront Camp & Conference Centre and Maroochy River Bungalows is seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our dynamic team.

About us : Maroochy Waterfront Camp and Conference Centre and Maroochy River Bungalows are exciting and innovative venues catering for school camps, sporting team camps and adult retreats along with holiday guests.  Located 8 minutes from the Maroochydore CBD, we offer a friendly, supportive work environment, where you will love to come to work

About the position :

Responsibilities include :

  • Answer the telephone in a timely and professional manner.
  • Convert online and in-person enquiries
  • Process online bookings
  • Check in / out guest and related activities pertinent to the efficient running of reception
  • Ensure Resly Property Management System input and output are correct for reservations, guest invoicing & receipting
  • Monitor and update Resly Channel Manager.
  • Promote a safe working environment

About you :

  • The role is for someone who can hit the ground running, be willing to commence immediate training and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Work in an accommodation venue or similar with reservation experience not essential, but preferrable.
  • Available to work a roster that includes Saturday, Sunday, one to two weekdays and afternoon/evening shifts.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are a MUST.
  • Must hold a valid Blue Card, or be willing to obtain one.
  • Above all you must be a happy and easy going person, who wants to enjoy your life and relish in coming to work at such an exceptional venue.
