Air Conditioning Technician

Your role:

Your main role will be to carry out preventative maintenance and repairs of air-conditioning systems and mechanical services for our many and varied clients at key commercial sites in the Sydney Metro area.  This is a full time position, usually Monday to Friday with some weekend work.

Tasks Include:

• General fault finding and installing of new components in air-conditioning systems, such as compressors, motors, switches & refrigeration pipes
• Testing correct operation of mechanical services, carry out repairs where required
• Ascertaining job requirements from drawings, and laying out installation reference points
• Soldering, welding & brazing refrigeration pipes
• Checking for refrigeration leaks in air-conditioning systems
• Evacuating and re-charging AHU systems
• General maintenance of air-conditioning systems and mechanical services

What you need:

• Experience in repair & maintenance of air conditioning units and/or mechanical services

Technology:

We are continually looking to improve our systems and keep up with current technologies. We are currently using industry specific software on tablets and mobile phones in the field which have proved very popular with our service team. You will be given extensive training on the use of the software.  Your schedules for each day will be on your phone, and this is where you will input your work logs for the office staff to action where required.

Training:

We have monthly training and development sessions in order to continually improve and up-skill our staff.  It also gives all of our technicians the opportunity to connect with management and office staff and share ideas over a coffee.

Salary:  $85 - $95K per annum + super +++
