Encaba is seeking skilled and motivated Control Systems Engineers to support the delivery, maintenance, and optimisation of automation and control infrastructure across a range of industries. To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Tertiary education in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles pertaining to, but not limited to, Power Systems, Industrial Automation, and Control Systems
  • Proficiency in design, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment
  • Experience with electrical drafting software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar
  • Knowledge of Australian electrical standards and regulations
  • Experience with IT/OT systems including PLC programming and SCADA development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning

Projects Available Immediately:

Power Station - Various Disciplines

Control systems integration and switch room manufacture for modular 12MW power station incorporating six gas reciprocating engines.

Encaba undertaking:

  • IT networking and cyber security design
  • SCADA development
  • Power Control System (PCS)
  • Generator Control Panel (GCP) design and manufacture
  • LV and MV switchboards design and manufacture
  • Commissioning

Major Fuel Installation - Control Systems Engineering

Engineering and control systems commissioning for 300M+ L fuel storage facility

  • Process PLC, Safety PLC and SCADA Development
  • IT/OT networking and cyber security setup
  • Electrical protection verification and testing
  • Site acceptance and commissioning

Mining Systems - Control Systems Engineering

SCADA and field hardware upgrade for mining client.

  • Staged PLC obsolescence upgrade of 52 remote control stations for mining client
  • SCADA upgrade and improvement scope

Water Treatment Plant - Various Disciplines

Encaba has been engaged as the primary contractor to deliver a turnkey solution for a standalone water treatment plant for a mining client. Working alongside contracted process engineers, Encaba is upgrading an existing water treatment plant with a completely new control system and modified processes. The project includes:

  • Process engineering design
  • Development of control system functional design specifications
  • Manufacture of a new motor control center (MCC)
  • Provision of new instrumentation and control hardware
  • Development and commissioning of the control system
