Are you an Automotive Parts Interpreter looking for your next challenge? Scarboro Toyota is seeking a motivated and detail-driven professional to take charge of our Predelivery Department, a critical area experiencing strong growth and expanding demand.
About the Role:
As the Parts Interpreter dedicated to our Predelivery Department, you'll play a key role in ensuring that all new vehicles are properly fitted with accessories and parts before they reach our valued customers. You'll manage inventory flow, liaise with internal departments, and help streamline accessory logistics to support a fast-paced, high-output environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and supply accurate parts and accessories for predelivery fitment.
- Coordinate with Technicians, the Sales team, and the Parts Department to ensure timely vehicle readiness.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy of stock related to new vehicle builds.
- Monitor and respond to the growing demands of the department with proactive planning.
- Support the relocation and optimisation of parts workflows to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain excellent supplier and internal team communication.
About You:
- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter in an automotive setting (Toyota experience highly regarded).
- Strong understanding of parts cataloguing and dealership operations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a department.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Tech-savvy with experience using dealership management systems (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds, ERA, or similar).
