Our federal government client, the National Blood Authority (NBA) is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer.

You will be proficient in front end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript), programming languages (C#, PowerShell), databases (SQL, TSQL), reporting (SSRS, Power BI), APIs, web services, mobile development and Microsoft Azure DevOps (pipelines, repositories, GitHub Advanced Security and more).

Key duties and responsibilities

  1. Design and develop effective software solutions utilising best practice methods to meet business needs and provide recommendation for continued improvements

  2. Contribute towards Blood Sector System development including Smartphone applications

  3. Perform analysis, maintenance, and remediation of existing systems, including providing support with technical or complex business requirements while contributing to automation

  4. Contribute to the integration of software across multiple platforms and environments in the National Health Sector

  5. Build effective relationships and negotiate outcomes with internal and external stakeholders

  6. Provide support and maintenance to the Blood Sector Systems, while also supporting the ongoing improvements to development practices and security in line with the Information Security Manual (ISM).
