Care Scheduler & Administration Assistant – Home Care

Elizabeth South, SA | Casual Position | Monday to Friday (Onsite)


About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Scheduler & Administration Assistant to join our friendly Home Care team at Best Life Disability Services, based in Elizabeth South.

This rewarding role focuses on ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services to our clients across Adelaide, while providing excellent administrative and scheduling support to our growing team.


Key Responsibilities

You'll play a vital role in supporting our participants and staff by:

  • Coordinating and managing the allocation of employees to participant services
  • Developing and maintaining accurate service schedules, including planning, confirmations, and managing short-notice changes
  • Preparing and distributing daily and weekly schedules for Home Care employees
  • Managing incoming and outgoing calls and emails from staff, clients, and stakeholders
  • Organising replacement staff to cover absences or shift changes
  • Updating and maintaining records in company information systems
  • Assisting with general office administration — including mail, ordering supplies, and restocking essentials

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and passionate about helping others. You'll have:

  • Previous experience in rostering/scheduling and administration
  • Experience within the Disability, Aged Care or Home Care sector
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • A commitment to person-centred service and teamwork

Essential Requirements
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
