Job Description**
Under the general direction of the Coordinator FMP and in collaboration with other FMP team members - provide project, administrative and logistical support for the implementation of the Forest Management Plan
Under the general direction of the Coordinator (FMP), this position:
- Engages with a range of stakeholders including government departments, local government, community organisations, industry groups and the general public to deliver key messages from the Forest Management Plan FMP).
- Assists in the development and delivery of the stakeholder engagement and communications plan for the FMP.
- Creates and prepares a range of communications to support the FMP including digital content, newsletters, fact sheets, presentations, and information stands in line with DBCA and FMP style guides.
- Manages the FMP stakeholder database to ensure information is accurately captured and reporting reflects FMP objectives.
- Establishes and maintains effective professional relationships and responds to stakeholder and community enquiries.

Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the following four (4) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in project management, stakeholder and community engagement and other associated skills including creating content for websites, and other communication methods.
- Experience in project implementation and development associated with the natural resource management.
- Sound research, analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to show initiative and commitment to follow up on matters, proactively sourcing information and drawing on available resources to respond to queries and provide excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment to achieve outcomes/results within timelines through being agile, curious and solutions focused. Sound database management and computer skills.
