Florist – Merchant & Green, Redfern

About the Role

We're looking for a talented florist to join our friendly, supportive team. This role is perfect for someone who's passionate about flowers, plants, and creating memorable customer experiences. Day-to-day, you'll:

• Prepare and condition fresh flowers and foliage
• Create bespoke bouquets and arrangements to order
• Assist customers with both floral and plant purchases
• Help with visual merchandising and maintaining our beautiful store displays
• Support our workshops, events, and peak trading periods (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, etc.)

Skills & Experience

You'll thrive in this role if you bring:

• A strong eye for colour, balance, and design
• Creativity and a genuine passion for flowers and plants
• 2+ years of retail floristry experience (preferred)
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisation and time management abilities
• Reliability, positivity, and a team-focused attitude
• Flexibility to work weekends and during busy seasonal periods

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
