POSITION SUMMARY
The Space Leader is responsible for leading the sales, service, and operational activities of the WOTSO Sydney workspace. This role focuses on managing workspace revenue, client relationships, and day-to-day operational performance. The Space Leader ensures high-quality client experiences, drives business growth, and maintains operational standards in line with group policies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Leadership & Business Development
- Lead the workspace sales and leasing operations for the Sydney location.
- Manage and respond to all client inquiries for office space and workspace leasing.
- Conduct site tours, convert leads into confirmed sales, and maintain high occupancy levels.
- Approve and process workspace bookings under 10 desks; assist Regional Manager with larger corporate leasing opportunities.
- Develop and implement local sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Build strategic relationships with local business networks, industry groups, and business associations to generate leads.
- Oversee social media marketing initiatives to promote workspace offerings and generate client interest.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance metrics.
2. Client Experience & Relationship Management
- Deliver exceptional client service to ensure satisfaction, retention, and engagement.
- Manage client communications, service requests, and issue resolution efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the membership lifecycle.
- Implement client retention and engagement initiatives to enhance community experience.
- Onboard new clients, including service agreements, payment collection, and workspace orientation.
3. Operations & Facilities Management
- Oversee daily workspace operations to ensure consistent service standards.
- Maintain workspace presentation, conduct inspections, and ensure facilities meet quality standards.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and service requests in collaboration with administrative support.
- Monitor workspace amenities, inventory, and supplies to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and operational policies.
4. Financial & Administrative Management
- Process client payments, maintain accurate records, and manage CRM updates.
- Track workspace occupancy, revenue performance, and conversion metrics.
- Complete weekly and monthly operational and financial reports.
- Manage site operational budget, approve expenditures up to $500, and reconcile site credit card transactions.
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for operational, client, and financial documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management, Sales, Real Estate, or related field plus 12 months experience or at least equivalent 3 years relevant work experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Proven workspace operations and administrative management experience.
- Strong client service, sales, and onboarding skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Ability to lead, coordinate, and liaise with teams and stakeholders.
- Skilled in problem-solving and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
