As part of our dedicated ancillary services team, you will help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our residents – making a meaningful difference every day.

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking casual Laundry and Housekeeping Assistants to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, have a strong sense of responsibility, and enjoy contributing to the well-being of others in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality laundry and cleaning services across the facility.
  • Perform general cleaning of residential rooms and common areas.
  • Operate laundry equipment and manage linen services.
  • Adhere to infection control, WHS, and cleaning protocols.
  • Use chemicals and equipment safely and appropriately.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to meet facility standards.
  • Communicate respectfully with residents, staff, and visitors.

About You:

We are looking for team members who have:

  • Previous cleaning or laundry experience (aged care or hospital setting highly regarded).
  • Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and follow established routines.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Good physical fitness to undertake manual work.

  • Understanding of infection control and workplace safety practices.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills.

  • A National History Criminal Record Check (NHCRC).
  • Full working rights.
  • Must be willing to have annual influenza vaccination.
  • Must have availability to work Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
