Sitting within our Corporate Affairs division, our Government Relations team supports Macquarie's engagement with government and diplomatic representatives, whilst developing and implementing the Group's government relations strategy.

What role will you play?
In this entry-level role, you will provide support across the regulatory and governance requirements for the team. You will assist in the coordination of key engagements with government stakeholders, including managing logistics to support the team's activities, along with monitoring policy developments relevant to Macquarie's businesses. You will assist the Group's engagement with ministerial, departmental and diplomatic representatives, including through policy analysis and preparation of briefing materials for the team and senior leaders.

What You Offer

  • A bachelors degree in a relevant area such as communications, public policy, international relations, or a related field
  • A demonstrated interest in politics and government relations, with an understanding of the Australian political landscape
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills.
