With work on our Mittagong and Moss Vale projects we are seeking to appoint Trade Assistants to join our team on a contract basis, likely September through to December/January.

About the role

As a Trade Assistant, working on our projects across Mittagong and Moss Value, you will working within a team to ensure site set-up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General labouring and site maintenance
  • Assist tradespeople with daily tasks including site preparation, tool handling, and material movement
  • Operate tools within scope of skills and experience
  • Support site and workshop coordination and logistics
  • Ensure good housekeeping practices on site and where relevant in the workshop
  • Participate in and sign off on safety observations and toolbox discussions
  • Follow safety procedures and work closely with a small team
  • Ensure all company assets are secure and used safely and competently

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Workplace, Occupation Health and Safety regulation
  • Heritage restoration experience, highly desirable
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate
  • Must hold a valid white card
  • Must hold a driver's licence and have access to a vehicle
  • Must be able to apply for Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Must be able to obtain a National Police Check with no disclosable outcomes
  • Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test at anytime
