The Opportunity:

As Queensland's healthcare sector continues its major $10B expansion, Rauland is growing, and so is our Service Team. We're looking for a proactive and capable Service Technician to help keep life-critical healthcare systems running smoothly every day.

You'll be part of a passionate team delivering 24/7 proactive and reactive service, maintenance, and minor works across Rauland's installed telecommunications and nurse call systems throughout Queensland. This isn't just another service role, it's an opportunity to apply your technical skills in a setting where reliability matters, and your work directly supports better patient care.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Install, maintain, and optimise healthcare communication systems that support clinicians and patients.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimise downtime and maintain continuity of care.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system checks, identifying risks and recommending solutions that enhance performance.
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled team to resolve complex issues and share learnings.
  • Apply your curiosity to understand our technology platform and identify opportunities to improve outcomes for our customers.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in AV, Security, Communications, or Technology Solutions industries.
  • A solid grasp of IP networking concepts, protocols, and hardware.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • A customer-centric mindset, focused on understanding needs and delivering value.
  • Motivation, curiosity, and a drive to keep learning in a fast-paced environment.
  • Open Cabling Licence and current driver's licence (travel required within QLD).
  • Willingness to participate in a 6–8-week on-call roster, with additional allowances and overtime.
