, a leading neurotech startup in Sydney building a headband that helps you unlock focus on command – especially for people with ADHD.

We've gone viral on Twitter, pulled in
13,000+ sign-ups
to our waitlist, and now we're ramping up our shortform content game to keep the momentum going.

This is a chance to be the creative force behind content for a startup that's already gone viral once and now turn it repeatable, shaping the brand's visual voice from the ground up and building a portfolio that could define your career.

The role

We're looking for a
creative, fast, and detail-obsessed video editor
to join us for a
3-month paid internship
. You'll take our filmed content (product videos, TikToks, Reels, behind-the-scenes) and bring it to life with
punchy, engaging edits
that grab attention and keep people watching.

We'll handle scripting and filming – your job is to make the edit excellent.

Here are examples of editing styles we like – and the style that we want to emulate: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

You'll be working directly with Nathalie, neuroscientist and Neurode cofounder, and Polina, who runs product & growth.

  • 3-month paid internship – 2 days a week in our Paddington office
  • Chance to grow into a permanent creative role as we scale
  • Starting immediately – we are after someone who can start ASAP
  • Work on a product making a real impact for people with ADHD – our users tell us they unlock 1.8+ hours of deep focus per day thanks to our product

You

  • Good at editing short-form video (TikTok, Instagram Reels)
  • Specific video editing skills:
  • Platform fluency – know the native feel of TikTok, Reels, and X
  • Hook-first thinking – can identify the first 1–3 seconds that will make people stop scrolling
  • Pacing mastery – know when to cut fast vs. when to hold on an emotional or punchy moment
  • Retention tactics – skilled at using text animations, zooms, cuts, pattern interrupts to keep people watching until the end
  • Sound design – layering trending sounds, subtle SFX (whooshes, pops), and music that fits the beat of your speech
  • Visual storytelling – using b-roll, reaction shots, and captions to amplify the message
  • Data-driven iteration – comfortable looking at analytics to see which styles perform best and doubling down
  • Comfortable with fast turnarounds and acting on ideas fast
  • Obsessed with making videos that stop the scroll
  • Bonus points if you have a portfolio that shows you can make content fun, smart, and high-energy
