At Bid.Shape.Shake. we specialise in construction-specific tender and branding consulting, helping builders win more work through strategic design and impactful branding. We create compelling bids and brand identities that stand out in a competitive market.

We are now looking for a Video Editor & Animator to join our team and bring our creative concepts to life through motion and visual storytelling. If you are passionate about editing, animation, and shaping content with a strong brand aesthetic, we would love to hear from you.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor & Animator who can transform static ideas and mock-ups into dynamic, engaging outputs. You will work across client projects and in-house content, ensuring everything you produce feels elevated, polished, and aligned with our brand values.

This role is about strong editing and animation. If you also have filming skills, that can be an added advantage, but the focus is on post-production and design-driven motion work.

We want someone with a portfolio of refined, modern aesthetic. Clean, sophisticated, and purposeful. If you are inspired by creators such as Zita Fernandez, and The Brand Identity but this work will vary, from website animations to social media.

You will collaborate with our Creative Lead (brand and print) and Senior Designer (digital) to ensure all visual outputs across bids, branding, and campaigns have consistency and impact. Previous agency experience is highly desirable, as it shows your ability to work at pace, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and adapt across client needs and deliverables. This is a part-time role, 1–2 days per week, with the potential to expand over time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Strong portfolio or showreel that demonstrates a clean, modern aesthetic
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro/other tools
• Confident in creating motion graphics and integrating design assets into polished edits
• Solid understanding of colour grading to maintain a consistent and refined look
• Strong sense of timing, typography in motion, and visual storytelling
• Attention to detail with the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality work under deadlines
• Excellent communicator who can collaborate closely while also working independently

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Edit and produce high-quality video content across client and internal projects
• Create motion graphics and animations that enhance brand storytelling
• Translate static mock-ups and storyboards into dynamic moving assets
• Work with the creative team to maintain consistent brand expression across all media
• Deliver to tight deadlines without compromising quality
