Innovo ) is a consulting and delivery firm that helps enterprise and government clients solve complex problems through smart design, modern engineering, and practical delivery. As part of a critical payroll transformation program, we're seeking an experienced
hands-on Test Lead
with strong payroll and data testing expertise.

This is an immediate requirement with a minimum six-month commitment, offering the opportunity to lead structured testing across payroll platforms, HR systems, and system integrations.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the design and execution of payroll testing strategies, including regression, integration, and parallel run validation.
  • Define and manage test plans across
    Frontier Software's Ichris payroll system
    and
    Oracle HR
    as the source of truth.
  • Oversee automated validation of payroll data, calculations, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Technology stakeholders to ensure compliance, accuracy, and quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate defect triage, risk reporting, and progress updates across delivery teams.
  • Balance hands-on test execution with leadership of testing activities across the project.

What we're after

  • 8+ years in software testing, with proven
    test lead experience
    in payroll or HRIS environments.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll testing, including
    parallel runs
    and reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with
    Ichris (Frontier Software)
    payroll platform (highly desirable).
  • Experience integrating HR, payroll, and finance systems, ideally with
    Oracle HR
    as master data.
  • Hands-on technical and data testing capability, including SQL and automation validation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • ISTQB certification (preferred but not mandatory).
