About the Role

You will have a key role in maintaining our grounds, offices, meeting rooms, warehouse, workshop and staff areas to a high level of cleanliness.

Regular hours – Choice of 5-day week OR 9 day fortnight

Responsibilities

  • Gardening and general grounds cleaning
  • Emptying of bins throughout the office and facilities
  • General maintenance and cleaning to buildings and amenities as required. (non-trades related)
  • Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping where required between weekly contract amenity cleaning
  • Ensuring kitchens and staff areas are kept tidy and hygienically clean
  • Maintenance cleaning of workplace wash troughs
  • Operating of medium size ride on sweeping machines
  • Operating of medium size floor scrubbing machines to maintain warehouse and workshops

Desirable

  • Have high attention to detail and are thorough in your work
  • Are energetic, self-motivated and have good communication skills
  • Are punctual and reliable
  • Hold a current forklift ticket but not critical for the right person
  • Have experience in operating floor cleaning equipment
  • Are a team player with a positive attitude

Required

  • Valid Drivers License

Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience.
