We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Junior Finance Assistant to join our Franchisor team, providing crucial financial and administrative support to our extensive franchise network across the country.

As a Junior Finance Assistant, you will provide crucial financial, administrative, and training support to the G.J. Gardner Homes franchise network and the Franchisor team. This is a diverse role that offers exposure to real-life financial practices within building companies across Australia. You will focus on ensuring franchise compliance with financial policies, assisting with essential reporting, and providing support for accounting software like Xero and our proprietary G.J. Software.

This is a Part-Time position (up to 4 days a week, with flexibility), perfect for someone currently studying or recently graduated. This role offers a hybrid working model, with an expectation to work at least Wednesdays and Thursdays in our office located in Birtinya. There is potential for this role to transition into a full-time position in the future.

• Financial Compliance & Reporting: Assist Franchise Owners in adhering to financial policies, contribute to the preparation and distribution of critical financial reports, and manage compliance documentation.
• Software Training & Support: Provide training to franchise teams on good financial practices and relevant software, including Xero and G.J. Software, and offer basic troubleshooting support.
• Administrative & Project Assistance: Process bank statement entries, assist with general corporate finance administration, and contribute to internal finance projects and data maintenance.
• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Regional Managers and the wider Franchisor Team to provide financial visibility and support for franchise-related matters.
