Mobile Equipment fleet has been growing over the last 10 years, they operate all over Sydney and otter suburbs. With a small and independent team, you will work with like-minded individuals. You work together to achieve a quick turnaround in new and used equipment. And look to support the growth of the business whilst they support major projects in and around Sydney. You will be part of the team of 10 guys and work from the Sydney office / workshop

What you'll be doing

1. Performing scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs on a range of mobile plant equipment including loaders, excavators, trucks and other heavy machinery
2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment
3. Completing thorough inspections and detailed reporting to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal machine performance
4. Communicating effectively with project managers and operators to coordinate maintenance activities and minimise equipment downtime
5. Providing guidance and mentorship to more junior team members
6. Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient workshop environment

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualifications Cert 3 Heavy Mobile plant Mechanic
2. Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance and repair of a wide range of heavy machinery and mobile plant equipment
3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to use computerised diagnostic equipment
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with operators, project managers and team members
5. A safety-first mindset and commitment to maintaining a clean, organised and compliant work environment
6. The ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines

Rates & Payment

· Hourly Rate - $60:00phr to $65:00phr

· Superannuation – 12%
