Centre Manager – Lead a Vibrant OOSH Service on the Northern Beaches

We're seeking an experienced, confident Centre Manager to take the lead at our high-capacity, P&C-run OOSH service in the heart of Sydney's Northern Beaches.

With up to 300 children in care during peak times, this is a dynamic leadership role suited to someone who thrives on responsibility, builds strong teams, and knows what quality looks like in out-of-school hours care.

You'll report to and work closely with the General Manager and P&C committee to ensure the service runs smoothly, safely and in line with National Quality Framework requirements, while shaping a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment for children, families, and educators.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Leading day-to-day operations across before, after, and vacation care
  • Ensuring full compliance with NQF, NQS, and MTOP V2.0
  • Overseeing and mentoring a team of educators and senior staff
  • Driving a positive, accountable and community-focused culture
  • Supporting the development and delivery of engaging programs
  • Managing rostering, resourcing, inclusion support, and WHS obligations
  • Acting as the Nominated Supervisor and key contact for regulation

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 4 years' experience as a Centre Director (including 18+ months in a large service)
  • Deep understanding of NQF, National Regulations, and the MTOP framework
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Relevant Early Childhood or OSHC qualification
  • WWCC, Child Protection, First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
