What's the role? 

This is your chance to step into a high-impact role where you'll help shape the future of Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) products at Westpac. As part of the Debt Products team, you'll be central to the product governance process, making sure our products and critical business applications are well-managed, risk-aware, and aligned with customer and commercial needs. 

You'll coordinate governance forums, support product approvals and reviews, and monitor performance across the lending value chain. You'll also work closely with stakeholders across the bank to ensure our products are not only fit-for-purpose but continuously improving. 

This is a full-time role based in Sydney, with a hybrid working model that gives you flexibility while keeping you connected to the team and the business. 

What do I need? 

We're looking for someone who's curious, collaborative, and confident navigating complexity. You'll bring a mix of analytical thinking, stakeholder savvy, and a passion for product excellence. 

Here's what will help you succeed: 

  • Solid experience in product management within financial services, ideally with exposure to lending or debt products. 
  • Strong analytical and data skills. Advanced Excel is a must, and the ability to turn numbers into insights. 
  • A proactive approach to risk management and governance, with an eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, knowing how to build trust and influence across teams. 
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle frameworks and governance processes.
