About the role

As part of this journey, we're looking for an experienced Marketing Automation Manager to design, execute and optimise digital customer journeys across our platforms.
You will play a key role in bringing insight-led strategies to life, using Braze as our marketing automation platform, Data Bricks for customer data, and tools like Google Analytics and Looker for measurement and reporting. Your deep understanding of customer data, personalisation, and journey optimisation will help shape engaging campaigns that drive growth and improve customer experiences at every touchpoint.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of customer journeys using Braze, aligned to business OKRs, KPIs and stakeholder goals.
- Design and implement A/B and multivariate testing strategies to optimise performance across campaign journeys.
- Develop personalisation strategies that increase engagement, conversion, and retention.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (including the SPAM Act), risk, and group governance controls.
- Build and maintain performance dashboards and funnel reports using Braze, GA, Looker and other tools to generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Communications, Segment, Product, Design, and Tech to deliver marketing automation initiatives in line with broader business objectives.
- Apply Agile ways of working to plan, prioritise and deliver high-value work efficiently.
- Champion the use of marketing technology, supporting business teams to deliver automation use cases.
- Stay ahead of trends in marketing automation, customer experience and personalisation, and act as a subject matter expert within the business.
Skills and experience required:
- 6+ years' experience in marketing automation or digital CRM, with a strong track record of success.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Braze (preferred), Salesforce, Adobe or Oracle marketing platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of customer data segmentation and audience creation with experience using CDPs like Salesforce, Tealium, Adobe or exposure to tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment or ContentSquare.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting using Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, ContentSquare or other analytics tools.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams, within a matrixed organisation.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to build, prioritise and manage delivery of continuous improvement backlogs based on insight driven hypothesis.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Technology or a related field (required).
