The design team collaborates closely with the construction team to ensure we can deliver the creative projects we design. Alongside our unique projects, we also deliver thoughtfully designed homes from a curated suite that you will have the opportunity to add to.

This role reports directly to the Design Manager and will be involved in a range of tasks, including:

  • The design of custom homes to suit a range of sites across Sydney, from the mountains, to Western Sydney, to the Beaches and beyond.
  • Work on high-end bespoke and standard residential projects from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with a passionate, supportive group who value creativity, detail and pragmatic design principles.
  • Grow with us as we expand, with clear opportunities for career progression.
  • The preparation of drawings using Revit for sketches, tender drawings, contract drawings and final consolidated construction drawings.
  • Ensuring all drawings are completed on time, with the required accuracy, and reflect client documentation and building standards.
  • Assist in Master Drawing documentation.
  • Liaising with internal members and external consultants, local Gov and other authorities.
  • Proactively plan, manage, coordinate and track all assigned tasks.
  • Upholding exceptional customer service to all clients.

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Relevant qualifications in drafting, building design or equivalent experience.
  • At least two (2) years experience within the residential building industry.
  • Sound knowledge of building construction practices.
  • Strong Revit skills (essential)
  • Understanding of the NCC and how to read council codes, SEPPs and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be self-motivated and results-focused.
  • Be able to work as part of a team, or autonomously, when required.

Please note, this position is a full time permanent position and, therefore is only available to candidates with unrestricted working rights in Australia.
