The Opportunity
We are seeking a Compliance Partner to ensure our programs meet regulatory requirements, including with the Early Childhood Education and Care national regulations, and the Victorian Child Safe Standards. You will work across departments, providing guidance, support, and expertise in compliance systems, incident reporting, auditing, and data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support services and leaders to maintain a high level of compliance across Sparkways programs
- Provide guidance and support to staff via the Compliance Desk (phone/email)
- Contribute to internal audits, the facilitation of Assessment & Rating visits, and compliance projects
- Assist in serious incident reporting, child safety investigations, and government liaison
- Develop, maintain and enhance policies, procedures and resources; compliance information and resources on the Sharepoint Staff Hub; and data for organisational reporting
- Provide backup support to the OH&S Advisor as required
- Participate in projects contributing to organisational development
About You
- Experience in compliance systems, reporting, auditing, and regulatory frameworks
- Knowledge of the Child Safety Standards and the Early Childhood Education and Care regulations is highly regarded
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Builds strong relationships with, and enjoys supporting and building the capacity of others
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with attention to detail
