Temp Senior Advisor

Translink are seeking a Temporary Senior Advisor (Commercial Partnerships) from 01 December 2025 to 27 January 2027. In this role you will lead tactical procurement activities, ensuring compliance with Chief Procurement Office guidelines. You'll manage and advise on tendering and contract processes, support project delivery, and provide authoritative procurement advice to cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include developing tender and RFQ documents, managing supplier relationships, supporting contract negotiations and driving positive outcomes through rigorous supplier performance management. You'll also foster a positive workplace culture, contribute to business improvements, and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
In the role of Senior Advisor (Commercial Partnerships) you will undertake tactical procurement, including managing and advising on tendering and contract processes to ensure Commercial Partnerships' compliance with Chief Procurement Office (CFO) guidelines. You will contribute to the successful delivery of various projects within the Commercial Partnerships team, by providing support to project activities where required.

Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Contribute to the effective delivery of procurement projects by assisting cross functional teams through providing authoritative advice and direction in relation to procurement to ensure maximum value and benefit from supplier relationships and Compliance with Corporate Procurement Office policy and procedures.
• Assist the project teams with the development of the Invitation to Tender (ITO) and Request for Quote (RFQ) documents including the development of key performance indicators, procurement plans and evaluations plans to ensure effective management of suppliers and contracts.
• Effective management of the tender process, managing clarification process, supporting the evaluation, and negotiating team and assisting with and finalising the contract award process.
• Ensure the successful delivery of positive outcomes for supply arrangements through supporting rigorous and systematic supplier performance and contract management.
• Contribute to a highly engaged and capable workforce through positive workplace culture and values alignment.
• Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed.

Mandatory Qualifications And Conditions

• Providing authoritative procurement advice and guidance that supports business units and project teams.
• Undertaking reviews of current practices and proactively participating in business improvement recommendations.
• Proactively building and maintaining effective relationships - within project teams, with a chief procurement office, and with suppliers, with specific focus on cost, quality and innovation and delivery.
• Delivering positive outcomes for supply arrangements through supporting rigorous and systematic supplier performance and contract management.
