You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of financial results for a complex, international organisation. What you'll do:

  • Take full responsibility for month-end and reporting period close processes for the Asset Management business to ensure integrity, accuracy, and completeness of all financial data.
  • Engage in complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, and consolidations to support robust financial reporting.
  • Manage accounting for co-investments in various fund strategies while coordinating with balance sheet lending activities in strict compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Lead and oversee comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations with thorough substantiation in accordance with Group policies to maintain high standards of financial control.
  • Deliver insightful analysis by reviewing divisional profit and loss statements and preparing value-added commentary for management decision-making.
  • Provide analytical reviews including margin analysis and ad-hoc insights to support strategic business decisions across the organisation.
  • Enhance core finance operations by improving transaction settlements, cash management processes, invoicing procedures, work-in-progress recovery, and receivables management.
  • Lead end-to-end management of commission, rebate, and fee processes while partnering with the Asset Management business on new initiatives to assess accounting implications.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on new and existing transactions between investor operations, treasury teams, and investment professionals to ensure smooth execution.

What you bring:

  • CA/CPA Qualified
  • Experience working in Asset Management/Property sectors
  • Big 4 exerience highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience thriving in environments where balancing multiple priorities is essential while maintaining complete ownership over deliverables.
