We are looking for a female Disability Support Worker who is compassionate, reliable, and experienced in supporting individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals exhibiting concerning behaviors, providing personal care, and supporting community access.

About the Role:

You will work closely with clients to help them achieve their goals, maintain independence, and participate in community activities. This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, patience, and a caring approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with daily living tasks, including personal care
  • Assist with community access and engagement
  • Work effectively with clients who present with behaviours of concern
  • Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion
  • Maintain clear communication and accurate documentation

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting clients with behaviours of concern
  • Experience in personal care and community access support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current First Aid/CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children Check
  • Relevant qualification (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support)
  • A caring, professional, and reliable attitude

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 16 per week
