We're seeking a leader in the field of HiL testing to help validate next-generation autonomous vehicle and fleet management systems. You'll use advanced simulation environments, real-time targets, and automation frameworks to ensure performance, safety, and reliability across autonomous haulage and fleet operations.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Designing and executing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) tests using MATLAB and Simulink
• Integrating HiL systems with sensors, controllers, and supporting hardware for accurate simulation and validation.
• Conducting integration tests across onboard and offboard systems, focusing on real-time communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Developing, automating, and maintaining test scripts and bench configurations using Python, C++, and Robot Framework.
• Analysing and reporting on simulation results, identifying root causes, and supporting system debugging and validation cycles.
• Collaborating with software, control, and systems engineers to refine models and ensure seamless integration across components.

Languages & Frameworks: Python, C++, Robot Framework

Simulation & Real-Time Platforms: dSPACE MicroAutoBox, Speedgoat, TruckSim, MATLAB/Simulink, Simulink Real-Time

Tooling & CI/CD: Vector CANoe, Jenkins, GitHub Actions (CI/CD)

Protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet, DDS

Domains: Fleet management, ADAS, autonomous haulage, real-time control systems

What you'll bring to the role:

• Your proven experience setting up and maintaining HiL bench environments (dSPACE, Speedgoat, or equivalent).
• Your strong background in HiL automation, test case design, and real-time system validation.
• Your substantial experience with MATLAB/Simulink and scripting automation using Python.
• Your familiarity with TruckSim (or equivalent — CarSim, IPG CarMaker, VI-Grade, AVL VSM, PreScan, ANSYS).
• Your familiarity with rapid control prototyping platforms such as MicroAutoBox, SCALEXIO, or Speedgoat.
