Python Automation Test Lead

Perth, Western Australia Zone IT Solutions Full time $150,000 - $200,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Python Automation Test Lead based in Perth location. The Automation Test Engineer will have an understanding of testing robotics and/or control systems.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in creating test automation for web applications and API testing in Robot Framework using Python for a microservice platform.
  • Proven 8+ years' experience as an Automation Test Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience with integrating automated tests into the delivery pipeline.
  • Proven ability in implementing automation frameworks from scratch with minimal supervision.
  • Developing an Automation framework. Designing, developing, and executing integration, system, regression, and performance tests.
  • Strong understanding of system verification and validation methodologies for microservices running in Docker environment
  • Proficiency with testing tools, data analysis software, and simulation environments.
  • Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and scenarios for verifying solutions and functional requirements.
  • Expertise with writing test cases, manual testing and testing processes (STLC) and familiarity with performance & load testing tools
  • Working experience of GitLab, JIRA and Confluence
  • Work closely with software, hardware, and systems engineers to refine verification processes
  • Proven 5+ years' experience as an Automation Test Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience with integrating automated tests into delivery pipeline.
