About the role
Lead a diverse multidisciplinary team across Stimulant Services, ADS–Outpatient, Burton Street Centre Youth Service and Assertive Community Management teams.
Drive innovative, client-centred care and oversee day-to-day operations to meet quality, financial and performance targets.
Shape new models of care and champion quality improvement across St Vincent's Alcohol and Drug Service.
Represent ADS at key committees and sector forums to influence service delivery and policy direction.
Make a real difference in the lives of people affected by alcohol and drug use while delivering on our Mission objectives.
About you
Qualified & experienced – tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline (or equivalent experience) with deep knowledge of drug and alcohol policy, treatment and harm-minimization approaches.
Proven leader – strong track record managing and motivating multi-disciplinary teams, driving day-to-day operations and quality improvement projects.
Clinical insight & innovation – experience in contemporary drug and alcohol treatment, including counselling, brief interventions and pharmacotherapy, and contributing to policy and service development.
Excellent communicator – confident negotiator with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to build relationships with patients, staff and external stakeholders.
Organized & adaptable – exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing workloads in a complex, fast-paced environment.
