OUR TEAM

Our Explosive Ordnance Systems team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. As a turnkey solution, we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for growth.

YOUR ROLE

• Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and regulations
• Monitor and support risk management processes
• Assist in the compliance activities relating to Commonwealth Authority (Comcare) Major Hazardous Facilities (MHF) Regulations for the Region.
• Implement, maintain and review Safety Management Systems
• Ensure regional compliance with the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) and Defence Security Manual (DSM) requirements
• Preparing documentation for security clearance applications of employees
• Investigating, making recommendations and preparing reports of security breaches and potential incidents
• Liaising with the Defence Security Authority and other related departments

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Cert IV in WHS (or ability to obtain)
• Excellent judgement and initiative to resolve a wide range of technical issues
• Experience in managing workplace HSE requirements
• Sound knowledge, experience and understanding of HSE Legislation
• Familiar with Microsoft Suite and quick to learn new systems

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
