**OUR TEAM**

Our Explosive Ordnance Services team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. As a turnkey solution, we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for growth.

Within our logistics services business there are 17+ depots throughout Australia, allowing various development and progression opportunities.

**YOUR ROLE**

You’ll play a key role in managing the storage, distribution, and maintenance of explosive ordnance, supporting the ADF’s operational readiness across Australia.

This is a hands-on leadership role, working closely with the Site Manager and regional leadership to ensure depot efficiency, compliance, and safety.

Located in sunny **Townsville, on Bindal and Wulgurukaba land,** your role purpose will be
- Supervise and coordinate storage, distribution, and maintenance teams to achieve KPIs
- Coordinate resupply, backload, and movement of EO stock in consultation with management
- Maintain compliance with explosive limits, security, and regulatory requirements
- Lead and participate in stocktake reconciliations, discrepancy investigations, and emergency control activities
- Support staff training, development, and performance management
- Ensure depot operations adhere to Thales’ safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Liaise with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to maintain high service levels

**YOUR EXPERIENCE**
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management (or ability to obtain)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated team leadership experience in logistics, warehousing, or a related environment
- Experience within the defence environment would be highly advantageous
