About the Role

We're looking for Trades Assistant to join our busy team, working across Coal Handling Preparation Plants (CHPP) in the Hunter Valley and Central West. This role is hands-on, physical, and ideal for someone who enjoys variety, working in a great team environment, and knocking off early for the weekend.

Work Tuesday to Thursday and keep your Mondays and Fridays free – giving you a long weekend, every week.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting trades in CHPP environments
  • Performing general labouring duties – including manual handling and using hand tools
  • Climbing stairs, carrying equipment, and working in sometimes dirty, gritty environments
  • Following instructions and working as part of a tight-knit team

  • Current Coal Board Medical (we take care of this)
  • Confined Space ticket - we can get you this, so no stress if you don't have it
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Mine site inductions (Hunter Valley/Central West) are highly desirable
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Good communication and willingness to contribute to team culture
