Field Service Technician

Join a Leader in Earthmoving Liebherr Earthmoving Division is growing across Australia, and we are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team in Bathurst. While covering the Central West region on your own, you will receive full support from our Sydney-based team; including a comprehensive 4-week training program at our Sydney facility to set you up for success.

In this dynamic role, you'll carry out diagnostics, servicing, and component replacements on a range of equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, and material handlers.

We're seeking someone proactive and driven—an individual who's passionate about Earthmoving equipment and dedicated to delivering top-tier service every time.

Key Responsibilities

• Major and minor service
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical systems
• Inspect and test electrical and instrumentation systems and components
• Routine maintenance, repairs, and component replacements
• Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
• Complete service reporting and manufacturers documentation
• Adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace

About you

• Trade qualification in Diesel or Mobile Plant Mechanics
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work over-time as required
• Capable of working independently in the field, problem solving in various situations.
• Extensive industry experience desirable,
• Strong diagnostic skills and fault-finding ability
• A current driver's license
