Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Development Coach to join our team at My First Gym. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a desire to promote healthy, active lifestyles. As a Junior Development Coach, you will be responsible for leading and assisting in the delivery of various fitness and developmental programs designed for children aged 6 months to 5 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct age-appropriate fitness and developmental classes for children.
  • Create a fun and engaging environment that encourages physical activity and skill development.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during sessions.
  • Provide guidance and support to children to help them achieve their fitness goals.
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to maintain a high standard of program delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding their children's progress.
  • Assist with setting up and cleaning up equipment before and after classes.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children in a coaching, teaching, or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic personality.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of child development and physical education principles.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Working With Children.
