The Opportunity

We're on the lookout for a passionate and energetic Reception Team All-Rounder to join our front-of-house team. This is a hands-on customer service and sales role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves helping others achieve their fitness goals.

Ideally, you'll have a combination of customer service and sales experience, and a strong interest—or even background—in health and fitness. Holding a Certificate III in Fitness (minimum) is highly desirable, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for members and guests—delivering outstanding service every time
  • Conduct gym tours and assist in the sales process for new memberships
  • Handle enquiries, bookings, and point-of-sale transactions
  • Stay up-to-date with all gym programs, events, and promotions
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area
  • Take pride in the appearance of the gym by completing daily cleaning duties across reception and gym floor areas to ensure the facility remains clean, hygienic, and presentable at all times
  • Support the wider team with day-to-day operations

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or sales
  • Previous experience in a gym or fitness environment is highly regarded
  • Certificate III in Fitness or above (preferred, but not essential)
  • A genuine interest in health and fitness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Tech-savvy with good computer skills (Office 365 experience a bonus)
  • Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure
  • Friendly, reliable, and highly organised
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Valid Working With Children Check
  • Available across a rotating roster (including early mornings, evenings, and some weekends)
