We are looking for a reliable and organized
Procurement Specialist
to support day‑to‑day procurement activity across corporate services. This role suits someone who is comfortable coordinating sourcing processes, working with suppliers, and helping teams follow procurement requirements.
The Role
You will assist with procurement operations, contract administration, and supplier communication. The role involves supporting RFQs, contract extensions, compliance checks, and maintaining accurate procurement records. You'll work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth processes and value‑for‑money outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement tasks including RFQs, quotes, evaluations, and extensions.
- Work with State Purchase Contracts (SPC) and ensure compliance with required policies.
- Support sourcing through the Digital Marketplace and other procurement channels.
- Maintain procurement records, meeting notes, and contract details.
- Coordinate approval workflows and ensure governance requirements are met.
- Prepare procurement documents such as business cases and recommendation papers.
- Engage stakeholders and suppliers to support good working relationships.
Skills and Experience
- Good commercial understanding and communication skills
- 3+ Years' experience coordinating procurement or contract administration
- Able to work with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities
- Understanding of government or public‑sector procurement (desirable)
- Qualifications in procurement, supply chain, business or similar would-be a plus
